It was silent here. Sloan didn’t like silent. Harru did, however, and he gladly trotted forward and sniffed around for a good spot to sleep. “Harru,” Sloan said to him through telepathy. “We don’t have time to rest.” Harru simply blinked, saying nothing, and he plopped down on a tree root.
“There is always time to rest,” Harru announced finally, and he put his tail over his face as to not be disturbed.
Sloan gave him a soft glare, and then she sat, her nose searching the air. There didn’t seem to be anyone here at all. Had there ever been anyone here? It didn’t seem like it. The prey was good, but Sloan didn’t feel like hunting. She was exhausted from the long day of travel. Perhaps if she could just get the attention of some wolves, she could find a friend, a pack to join or maybe even a mate. Anything but this loneliness.
Sloan tossed back her head and howled. It was a long, drawn-out howl, sad and happy all at once; excitement for the future. The howl told of the want for a mate, the want for a friend or a pack. The want to not be alone with just Harru. The sudden howl had startled the young Spirit, but he soon enough settled down and listened to the young female’s sadness.

Terra hear a long sad howl, though happiness seemed to be hidden in there. The Dhole looked around, there seemed to be a wolf not too far from here, Terra did not see that coming, she was sure her and Ruby where alone. The bear also looked up and tilted her head, Terra we should go see who it is!!!, the bear was vibrating from excitement, so Terra rolled her eyes and walked on, her tail wagging lightly, she looked at her spirit, a large young grizzly bear, they loved each other very much.
As they turned Terra could see a wolf, one she had seen before, I though Dire wolfs where suppose to be rare!?. The wolf was surprised, she has never seen so many dires in her life, and she thought they where a ling lost breed, but she walk on,''Hello there''. The orange Dhole called to the fae, hoping she was friendly.. maybe they could even be friends. |

Sloan saw the female wolf and a bear come up, and slowly, she stood. Harru didn't make much of a scene, simply glancing half-heartedly at the two of them and then falling back asleep. Sloan, on the very other hand, was different, and she was curious. She came forward and sat at a polite distance, murmuring, "I was wondering if anyone was around here. It would seem to someone everyone around here is dead, I've seen so little of my own."
Her tail swept delicately over Harru, making him shake himself and come to stand beside her. He grumbled a "hello..." as friendly as a Harru greeting could get. He gave an uneasy glance at the bear, grumbling something about too much fur, and he settled down at Sloan's paws, displaying his bad habit of hiding when he felt overwhelmed or nervous.
"He's... Grumpy," Sloan decided for a polite word. "But he really can be nice..." She shot him a glare, and Harru opened his mouth and forced a smile. Rolling her eyes, Sloan grinned a bit at the new wolf and her spirit and said, "I'm Sloan, and this is Harru. May I ask your names?"
OOC: sorry I took so long to answer my computer crashed on me.
