Spirits are the outside force that ties a wolf to the mortal world. Likewise, their wolf ties them to the mortal realm as well. They appear in the form of small animals, often birds, reptiles, and small mammals. They can only commune with their wolf through telepathy, and they may also speak in their own call to other Spirits of the same species.
Not every wolf has their Spirit; They are found, not given. When they find their spirit, it appears int he form of the wolf's soul, such as if they are evil, the Spirit may be a snake, or if they are good, a dove. Though this is not often the case; Wolves are not always just evil, or just good. Some wolves spend their life searching for their Spirit, but some never do, while others chance upon them.
